RAMP Media Group's Driver Survey goes LIVE
Atlanta, GA - RAMP Media Group, best known as the originator of the digest sized trucking magazine, is conducting a National Drivers Survey in cooperation with Trincon Group, a Division of Transition Solutions, Inc. The purpose of the survey is to address major industry issues and present a strong retention message to carrier management through driver input.
“The transportation industry is going through some tremendous changes right now," says Marvin Shefsky, CEO of RAMP Media, “…with soaring gas prices and a current shortage of good drivers, it is more important than ever that fleet owners and transportation industry leaders understand their drivers and have the ability to know how to improve their working conditions and their on-the-job performance."
This important national survey is being promoted through RAMP Media's two flagship publications, OTR and Pro Trucker magazines, which are the two most successful digests in the history of the trucking industry with over 230,000 monthly circulations to drivers through truck stops, in addition to direct distribution to over 2000 of the nation's largest trucking fleets. The survey will be conducted and promoted via two of RAMP Media's high traffic websites, otrprotrucker.com and healthytruckinginfo.com.
After three months, the survey results will be released to the national press. Subsequently, the survey will be serialized so that trucking fleets can have their drivers surveyed, obtain the results, and compare them to the full national data base results.Â
RAMP Media Group has also received a great deal of recent national attention as the driving force behind the coast-to-coast Healthy Trucking Initiative, an ongoing multimedia promotion designed to provide drivers with the resources they need to get healthy and live longer lives. With the release of this new driver survey, RAMP Media Group demonstrates once again that it is a company that really cares about our nation's over the road professionals.
