CFI Honors November Drivers of the Month

JOPLIN, Mo. — Dec. 13, 2007 — Contract Freighters, Inc. (CFI), a Con-way (NYSE: CNW) company and international truckload carrier based in Joplin, Mo., is pleased to announce the monthly driver award recipients for November 2007:

• Company Driver of the Month:  George Cook started driving for CFI in 1986 and has driven over 2.7 million miles. He lives in Arlington, Texas.
  
  

• Company Team of the Month:  Ted & Gail Landis both began driving for CFI in 2001.  They live in Alma, Georgia.
  
  

• Contractor Driver of the Month:  Esteban Campos began his career with CFI in 1994.  He resides in Somerset, Texas.
  
  

• Contractor Team of the Month:  Allan & Marian Bruton began their careers at CFI in 1988 and together have driven over 3.8 million miles. They reside in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
  
  

• As the November 2007 winners, each driver and team is automatically nominated for the 2007 year-end award in their respective category. All full-time over the road drivers who have been certified as a driver at CFI for one year are eligible for the CFI driver awards. Additional qualifications are as follows:

• Received no moving violations in the previous twelve months;
• Involved in no accidents in the previous twelve months;
• Received no out of service violations through State/Federal inspections in the previous twelve months.
