CFI Honors Trio of Drivers for Reaching Three Million Miles

Drivers Recognized for Commitment to the Industry

JOPLIN, Mo. — Sept. 11, 2007 — Contract Freighters, Inc. (CFI), an
international truckload carrier based in Joplin, Mo., today announced that
three of its professional truck drivers have achieved the distinguished goal
of traveling three million miles. In a morning ceremony held at the CFI
Information Center on Saturday, Sept. 8, drivers Charles Beaty, Jon Smith
and Larry Trexler were congratulated for their exemplary industry standing.
With these three honorees, only eight drivers in CFI's history have reached
this career milestone.

"These individuals represent an elite group of drivers at CFI and in the
industry,” said Herb Schmidt, president and CEO, CFI. "Our drivers are the
heart and soul of our business and we are all excited and proud to see these
drivers reach this personal and professional ¬achievement.”

Charles "Charlie” Beaty has been a CFI driver since 1981 and has been
driving professionally for 36 years. Charlie resides in Seneca, Mo., with
his driving companion and wife, Robyn. They have three sons, Carl, Jeff and
John. In his time off, he likes to play poker.

A Joplin resident, Jon Smith began his professional driving career with CFI
in 1984. Smith has three daughters, Jessica, Crystal and Tina. When he's not
traveling or driving, he enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Larry Trexler, a professional truck driver for 38 years, has been with CFI
since 1979. Larry lives in Rockwell, N.C., with his wife of 10 years,
Elaine. When he's not on the road, Larry enjoys collecting ceramic grizzly
bears.

The drivers honored have a combined total of more than 90 years of
professional driving experience, 77 of those with CFI.

CFI was acquired by Con-way Inc. on Aug. 24.
