Marten Transport, Ltd. Recognizes September Drivers of the Month

 

Mondovi, Wis. - Marten Transport recently announced their Drivers of the Month for September 2006.  Marten would like to thank these drivers for their hard work and dedication to the company and congratulate them on a job well done!

            Drivers of the Month at Marten each receive a $25 t-check as well as special recognition from their fleet manager.  Each driver will also receive both a certificate recognizing their achievement and a gift from the company store.  Recruiting Director Stacia DeWitt says, "We are very grateful for all the hard work these drivers provide for Marten.  We wouldn't be here without them and do all we can to show them our appreciation." 

            Qualifying drivers must meet a minimum of 10,500 miles for that month, have no accidents during the month and have 100 percent on-time deliveries.  This month's drivers averaged 13,109 miles for the month of September.

            Marten's September Drivers of the Month are:  The team of Janus Fynaut and Alexis Henderson, Noell Reece, Michael Piner, Ken Thede, Michael Norton, Larry Fowler, Randall Prescott, Michael Porter, John Borrett, Hanley Johnson, Billy Hooper, Thenal Gregory, Russell Miner, William Cunningham, Terry Shadden, Robert Clemes, Larry Woods, Michael Baker, Terrell McClennan, III, Brian Fell, Nathan Kraehenbuehl, Renaldo Joseph, Serafin Costello, Robert Viele, Joe McCusker, Anthony Smith, Johnny Hill, Daniel Mosij, Richard Henry, Arlie Pedigo, Anthony Collins, Stuart Shaver and Allen Ray.

            In addition to this recognition, Marten also offers a variety of bonus programs including safety bonuses, referral bonuses and performance based bonuses.  Marten will also pay an incentive on all loads that require hazmat endorsement.  "The drivers receive $25 for picking up the load and $25 for delivering a hazmat load," DeWitt says.
