Decker Truck Line, Inc. Makes Commitment to Highway Cleanliness
Fort Dodge , Iowa —October 9, 2006 — In a move to improve the safety, cleanliness and beauty of Highway 20, Decker Truck Line, Inc., has committed the company to help keep Highway 20 litter-free. By participating in the Iowa Department of Transportation’s “Adopt A Highway” program, Decker Truck Line, Inc. is removing litter and debris from a two-mile stretch of Highway 20 (westbound from mile markers 127 to 125, ending at the Ft. Dodge exit.)
According to Jim Wilkins, Vice President of Safety and Human Resources, “Decker Truck Line, Inc. has always been proud to be a part of the communities we serve. This worthwhile program is one more way to demonstrate Decker’s dedication, pride and commitment to our neighbors, our community as well as respect for the environment.” Twice a year Decker employees will clean their designated section on Highway 20, helping improve our state highways and the environment.
