Decker Truck Line Announces Drivers of the Month for September 2006

Fort Dodge, Iowa —October 9, 2006 — Decker Truck Line, Inc. is pleased to announce that Keith Andrews was selected as the September 2006 Driver/Owner-Operator of the Month for the Flatbed division. Keith lives in Fort Dodge, Iowa, with his wife, Tammy. He has been with Decker since July of 1990, first as a company driver, and in 2004 he became an owner-operator. Keith is a member of Decker’s Million Mile Team.

 

Selected as Driver of the Month for the Reefer/Van division was Bryan Thenhaus. Brian resides in Mason City, Iowa, with his wife, Michele. He has been with Decker since September of 2004.

 

Drivers and owner-operators are nominated each month by their dispatcher, and are selected based on their overall performance within all areas of the company; including operational productivity, safety record, maintenance/care of equipment (including idle time), payroll and billing, and customer service. All drivers and owner-operators who are selected as a Driver of the Month will be eligible to be chosen as Driver/Owner-Operator of the Year.
