MB2 Motorsports launches new website

MB2 Motorsports has launched a new Web site featuring the latest technologies that will allow fans “back stage” access to the organization and its race teams.

The company’s redesign of the site, www.mb2motorsports.com, includes a number of highlights not often found elsewhere. Along with team and staff information, including MB2 drivers Joe Nemechek and Sterling Marlin of the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series, Kraig Kinser of the Craftsman Truck Series and Jesus Hernandez of the Drive For Diversity Program, there are features on the site to keep fans entertained and informed.

The site is one of the first available in NASCAR to feature Really Simple Syndication (RSS) technology, allowing fans to receive team news as it happens. The site will also have sound and video through the MB2 podcasts, featuring changing interviews with drivers and team members.

“It’s a pretty cool Web site,” says Nemechek. “This is a great way for fans of MB2 Motorsports and its drivers to be able to keep up with things going on with the race team and its members. This is just another way MB2 Motorsports is helping itself stand out in the sport.”

A fan forum section has been included that allows registered visitors to exchange photos, opinions, stories and much more. And there are photo galleries posted that depict all aspects of MB2 Motorsports and its racing teams, including on-track and off-track activities, plus appearances, events and lifestyles.

“The new MB2 site will provide a fun hangout for racing fans,” says Jay Frye, MB2’s CEO and general manager. “The site, with its technologically advanced informational center, will also allow MB2 and its sponsors to tell their story in a timely and meaningful way.”

Links to team sponsor Web sites are also included, so that information about the U.S. Army, Waste Management, CENTRIX Auto Finance, Ginn Clubs & Resorts and Wiley X can be accessed.

The developer of the new MB2 Web site was Acme Branding Company of Ludington, MI.
