“I try to get home as much as I can in order to be with my family. I like to go fishing, but there’s not too much time to do that. When I do go fishing, I’ll try some of the local ponds and lakes, as well as Lake Erie. What do I fish for? Anything I can eat.”
Ralph Howard, 55, LaPlata, MO
Professional driving experience: 2 years
“I like to cook because I like to eat. I also like electronics. Ham radio. From time to time, I’ve also worked with the Boy Scouts as a counselor. I like to camp, fish and shoot clay pigeons.”
Blaine Turner, 65, Crittenton, KY
Professional driving experience: 30 years
“I like car racing. NASCAR. I like watching it on TV. We’ve got a dirt track real close to us, so I go there. Of course, you have the Kentucky Speedway, and I’ve been there. If it has to do with race cars, I like it.”
William Ringstaff, 42, Omaha, NE

“That’s easy; I like to be with my lady. Besides that, I like to sit at home, relax and watch TV or go the movies with friends. I enjoy reading, and I like to go fishing, but it’s hard to find the time.”
Larry Faul, 60, Independence, KY
Professional driving experience: 39 years
“I just retired from the trucking industry, so I have more time to do things than I used to. I’m an old Cub Cadet man, lawnmowers and tractors. I like to ride ‘em and race ‘em. I have a small farm, so I take care of that. Farming is just as regulated by the government as the trucking industry.”
