It pays to lease at Prime
Prime Inc. announced a major lease payout for the month of November. The total bonuses paid to all contractors who paid off their lease for the month of November were $862,426.61. The average contractor earned a bonus of $7,912.17. Robert Alonzo earned the most with a total of $19,853.76.

Hill Brothers salutes 100,000-mile drivers
Hill Brothers Transportation recently recognized 36 drivers for having achieved 100,000 safe miles throughout their tenure at Hill Brothers. “These drivers have a great start on a long safe driving career,” said Assistant Safety Director Sandie Bokelman. “It’s drivers like this that make it safer for everyone on our public highways.”

Shippers vote Roehl tops in service
When companies who ship industrial heavy loads (flatbed cargo) were recently asked to identify the carriers that provide the best service, Roehl Transport was among those named most often. The vote, which canvassed over 2,000 shippers from across the nation, was part of Logistic Management magazine's annual Quest for Quality program.

Hirschbach donates $17,000 from golf event
Hirschbach Motor Lines donated $17,000 to the June E. Nylen Cancer Center in Sioux City, IA from funds raised in their annual charity golf outing. The money has been designated to go to the SOS (Serving Our Sis-ters) program and will be used to provide mammograms and early cancer screening for women who may otherwise be unable to afford such tests.

Maverick recognizes 15-year safe driver
Maverick Transportation presented driver Kirl Tartt with a 15-year Safe Driving Award in recognition of his 15 consecutive years of accident-free driving with the company. “This is the type of award that only the most professional, safest drivers receive,” said Vice President of Safety Dean Newell.

Marten honors Drivers of the Month
Marten Transport saluted 33 Drivers of the Month for November 2005. To qualify for Driver of the Month, drivers must have a minimum of 10,500 miles during the month and be accident free with 100-percent on-time deliveries. Combined, the Drivers of the Month averaged 13,445 miles during the month of November.

Highway Watch announces new alliance
The Highway Watch program announced a new strategic alliance between the Highway Information Sharing and Analysis Center (Highway ISAC) and the Emergency Man-agement and Response Information Sharing and Analysis Center (EMR-ISAC) that will begin disseminating Highway ISAC reports to the 22,000 first responders in the EMR-ISAC network. The new alliance allows the members of the EMR-ISAC to receive information gathered from Highway Watch reports directly from the Highway ISAC.
