Driven Women
Bad Boys, Self-Righteous Women
Dear GG—I’m tired of hearing you self-righteous women truckers go off on the guys out here just trying to do our job. You take on a job that is meant for a man, then you do nothing but complain about it. You don’t like the way we dress. You don’t like the way we talk. You don’t like how we keep our trucks. You think we all cheat on our wives and girlfriends. You basically think we’re the lowest form of life on the planet.
Why don’t you holier than thou women give it a rest. If you don’t like truckers or driving a truck, get out of the business. You don’t have any right to go changing things where you don’t belong in the first place. We ain’t bad boys, we just do the job the way it’s supposed to be done.
Hank in Kansas
Hank, did you just get rejected by a lot lizard or fined because your truck was condemned by the Department of Health and Human Services? Only someone with serious anger and self-esteem issues could have written that note. Is that you?
On behalf of the “holier than thou” women truckers, Hank, please mount a 3' x 3' poster that says “MEN ONLY” on all sides of your truck. Oh sure, people will talk, but you’ll never have to worry about hearing from another self-righteous female driver.
Most truckers, men and women, are good, smart, hard working people. It’s drivers like you, Hank, that give us bad publicity and encourage stereotypical images. Maybe the industry has outgrown your thinking. Is it time for you to get out of the truck?
Ladies, as a famous comic says, “There’s your sign!”
Keep all 18 rolling safely, and away from Hank.
