Driven Women

Tell it like it is: Take one

Truckers, it’s time to call it like we see it, whether they like it or not. Who are we? Truckers, active or former, men or women, company drivers or owner-operators. Who are they? Anyone else.
Forty-seven female co-drivers were asked to fill in the blanks as they relate to their co-drivers, their male counterparts. What follows are my personal favorites:

My co-driver is great at ____, but could use help_____.
“Great at finding good places to eat and saving us fuel, but could use help in finding a personality. He’s so boring that I can’t wait to stop at truck stops to talk to…anybody!”

Terrie, Oklahoma

“Great at booking our loads, but could use help backing. He thinks he’s good, but we’ve got more dents on our trailer because he can’t back.”

Tonda H., Virginia

“Great at making love, or just plain sex, but could use help with keeping his girlfriends from calling him at all hours of the day and night.”

Becky B., New York

“Great at drawing conclusions, but could use help coming to the right one. He’s a good guy most of the time, and the rest of the time, he’s an idiot.”

Rachel D., Colorado

Ask your co-driver to fill in the blanks. Can you handle the truth?
     Cheers,
     GG
