Driven Women
The real issue

Dear GG—I can’t read very well. I can do OK enough to get by and got my trucking license, but much more than that, I’m no good. I dropped out of high school; been working labor all my life, I’m 27 and got into trucking when I was 21. I think that because I don’t read or write, good women don’t want to have anything to do with me. They look at me like I’m stupid, and I ain’t! I can’t help that I can’t read good, but I don’t deserve to be lonely!
If you know of any woman out there that wants a hard working, good man, send them my way.

Lucky for you, there is a cure for illiteracy (an inability to read or write) if you want it. Contact Pro Literacy Worldwide at 315-422-9121 or go to www.literacyvolunteers.org/locator, click on “Need Help” and fill in the blanks.
However, Barrel Runner, your illiteracy has absolutely nothing to do with you being single. If I had to guess, it would be the annoying pity party you throw for yourself every chance you get. Eventually, you’ll be the only one accepting the invitation.
Learn to read and write, end the pity party, and address the real issue—you.
Cheers,
GG
